The preparations for Giant Fanatic 15 are well under way! The tournament will run its course on the weekend of the 5-7th of October, in its traditional settings in Copenhagen.

If you have an idea for an event you are passionate about, then please contact us with the idea! It can be almost anything miniature related, and doesn’t have to be two day events. If you just want to do something for one afternon, that is also ok. Ask us!

Players participating in the event should read it carefully. Those who are not able to participate still has the chance to follow the action. During the event, keep an eye out for the live updates on our website.

It’s getting close now and we are moving to the final preparations to Giant Fanatic 14. As we are getting the final tasks settled, we have a favour to ask you players. We know we have been saying this a few time (but we promise that this will be the last), remember to update your accounts on our website with all the necessary details regarding your player information (Phone number, Army and such). We know that many of you have already done so, but if you haven’t, be sure to get it done. It makes everything easier for us and enables us to use our SMS-service during the event.

Quiz
As written in the tournament pack, we are trying something brand new with the quiz. The quiz contains background questions, rules questions and random questions from GFs past. It consists of 14 questions and each question will, if answered correctly, award 1 TP, for a maximum score of 14 TPs.

The quiz starts right after game 1 on Saturday at 12:30, and then you have 8 HOURS total to finish it. It is multiple choice quiz where you can use all the aids you want to, including talking to each other. Therefore we also intend to add some really difficult questions!
If you are too late to hand in, or if you forget to write your name and ticket number on the sheet, you will be awarded 0 Tps.

Lead Tables
Additionaly, Sune Rasmussen (aka Tulzifar) has been building two lead tables, one for Warhammer 40k and one for Warhammer Fantasy. These tables will be used by the lead players each round and will feature some cool custom made terrain.

Army Trays
The previous years army trays have been in huge demand. Once again players will be able to borrow army trays by paying a deposit. You will also be able to purchase dice with the GF logo, but there is a limited amount so be fast if you want to grab some.

Warhammer 40.000:
Last year we had to rent terrain to be able to host the event. This year we have spent a lot of time and effort building and buying new terrain for Warhammer 40k. We hope you will enjoy playing on the new tables, we have enjoyed building them.
This year we have had some difficulties with late Q&A´s. We sincerely apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and we will look forward to find a solution so that it does not happen next year. The work on this has already started! For the current Q&A we are working hard to get the final few questions answered by Thursday the latest!
There is a new updated Mission Pack for Warhammer 40k, so make sure to go to the website see if you have seen the latest Mission Pack.

Warhammer Fantasy:
The last Q&A has gone up. There will not be answered more questions so make sure to check the last updates to the Q&As on the website.

Kiosk & Food Here are some new and practical information about the Kiosk & Food. The kiosk at Giant Fanatic will be able to supply all your needs. We have some news and reminders so pay close attention.

Kiosk & Food
Here are some new and practical information about the Kiosk & Food.
The kiosk at Giant Fanatic will be able to supply all your needs. The Kiosk will not serve dinner at this years Giant Fanatic all though warm sandwiches will be served. You are allowed to bring your own food and eat and drink it in the hall, but we still encourage all of you to support the Kiosk otherwise it won’t be there next year.

Epic Armageddon
Last year we held a great Epic Armageddon tournament. This year the tournament is a one day tournament and cost 100DDK. So if you like Epic Armageddon go ahead and join!

40.000 & Fantasy SMS-service
Last year we had a great succes with our SMS-service during the event. So if you write your phone-number on your player profile on www.giantfanatic.dk , we will send you a SMS before each round of the tournament. The SMS you receive includes the name and army of your opponent, the scenario you are going to play, as well as the table you will be playing at. Furthermore it is a way that we can address all players at once, so if something important is coming up it is an extra line of communication. So remember to add your phone number to your profile if it is not there. While your are in there to update your phone-number, remember to update your choice of army as well, then we will try to make sure that you wont play anyone else with the same army in the first couple of rounds.

40.000 & Fantasy Painting
Last year, we had some misunderstandings in our painting score system which led to a few disappointed players. To avoid further misunderstandings we strongly advice you to read our painting guide, even if you think you are on the safe side of things, please make sure that your army fulfill the requirements to score points. We do not expect or require everyone to be painting experts, but we do expect people to do their best and finish their armies.

40.000 & Fantasy Teams
Remember to sign-up your teams! If you want to participate with a team remember to sign it up. You will not be able to do so on the day of the event. So if you want to play with your mates, go sign up now!
Remember that a team must between 3 and 5 players.

40.000 & Fantasy FAQ
There has been a lot of work with the FAQ´s Warhammer Fantasy (Warhammer 40.000 soon to come). Players have been very eager and helpful, pointing out things we forgot and asking all sorts of weird questions which we have answered to the best of our ability. So go check out the new FAQ´s here:

Blood bowl
The tournament pack for BB is up and running and players are signing up. If you did not get a ticket for Warhammer 40.000 or Fantasy you still have a chance to participate in the BloodBowl Mermaid Cup.

Malifaux
As something brand new we will host a Malifaux event at GF14. Rules are released, but you can also follow the discussions (Danish) at this link: http://www.powerfist.dk/forum/index.php?topic=49753.0
It is now possible to sign-up to Malifaux even though only one spot is left, so if you like Malifaux go ahead and join!
