We would just like to remind you that this years biggest Scandinavian toysoldier event is fast approaching, so remember to book the calendar! The basic details are traditionally:

Date: Friday the 30th September to Sunday the 2nd of October
Location: Remisen, Blegdamsvej 132, 2100 KBH Ø
Tickets: As tradition prescribes they go on sale at 00:01 on the 1st of August

• Flames of War (180 DKK) (Almost sold out!)
• Blood Bowl (160 DKK)
• Epic:A (160 DKK)

Price rises:
As you might have noticed after having unchanged prices for the last three years in a row, we’ve deemed it necessary to raise them slightly.

This reflects the fact that although the price we charge hasn’t changed the prices we pay has consistently gone up. As importantly one of our major sponsors in the years gone by (Ungdomskulturpuljen) have shut down for good, which also puts additional pressure on our budget.

Giant Fanatic is a non-profit venture and in the end if the budget isn’t water tight, either due to too few participants signing up, or large unforeseen expenses, then we are just a bunch of ordinary hobbyists with a lot of our own money on the line. Hence we try to steer on the cautious side to avoid risking too much, and if the budget ends up being too cautious, that just entails we have additional funds to make your weekend that extra bit of special!

Our stable sponsor Østerbropuljen deserves special praise for helping us cover part of the costs of renting the hall, and we just got confirmation that they are doing this again this year. Otherwise the price rises would have been quite a bit higher and there would have been absolutely no fancy stuff to impress you!

Painting:
The next big thing you need to know in advance are the painting rules so you can start preparing, finishing or building your army for Giant Fanatic 14!

These rules cover Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy. We’ve tried to make a few changes on how best painted scores are given (lots of nominations!), as well as designing a system that will make it easier for us to give some what individualized feedback on each of your scores.
